Beautiful work, I can't believe you don't like the background - I really love the rock, especially the bright parts of it, and the water is gorgeous! Very pretty character, too. :>

i find the bottom half of the water is what ruins it. It makes it look like the character is in a viewing arena, like a zoo, with a big glass wall against the water.
